Professional Statement
Dr. Lima received her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Long Island University in 2010 and specializes in the treatment of pediatrics and pelvic health conditions.

With the experience of two different pregnancies and deliveries, Dr. Lima embarked on a journey into pelvic floor therapy, leading to the establishment of Lima PT. Her personal encounters with both vaginal birth and C-section procedures sparked a deep curiosity about pelvic floor issues, including managing bladder symptoms. During this time, she encountered a disheartening lack of awareness and prevalent misinformation surrounding pelvic health.
Recognizing the significance of prioritizing pelvic health, particularly during pregnancy and the postpartum period, Dr. Lima is dedicated to providing exceptional care.

Central to her vision was the creation of a space where individuals of all ages feel safe, heard, supported, and genuinely understood. At Lima PT, concerns and symptoms are never dismissed as "normal." Patients are not passed off to aides or left to navigate complicated machines unassisted. Rather, Lima PT ensures a personalized approach, scheduling individuals for one-to-one sessions once a week or, in some cases, once every other week. These focused sessions span 45 to 60 minutes, fostering progress and the pursuit of individual goals.
Dr. Lima extends her services to the communities of Jersey City, Hoboken, and Bergen County.
